Photoshop is a great program, but it functions a bit differently ;than other programs. For example undo (ctrl z) only does the last step. This video demonstrates how undo and redo work in photoshop as well as how to see your history of what you have done. You can also change the number of history states that photoshop saves from 20 to 1000. Great video for someone new to Photoshop.

  1. if you didn't have more than 20 before drawing over 20 can you not go back to anything prior to that ever again? unless you revert?

  2. This is the best tutorial ever recorded!!  I can't tell you how many times I've spent hours on a photo, got it to a great place and ran one action that didn't work for me– then had to start all over again because I couldn't undo to just before I ran the action.  I'm soooo loving you right now.  Thanks for the share!
